CINE TEAM

PRODUCING FILMS FOR SOCIAL IMPACT

WE CREATE CHANGE

It all began in 2015, when Matteo and Lars realised film projects together alongside their education – and merged their first names into cineMars. Their passion, unbounded ambition and the shared vision to touch and inspire people with their own images is what makes their bond so strong. We are proud and happy to have been joined on this journey by wonderful people who share the same goal with us – to positively influence society.

In close and long-standing cooperation with partners from the fields of culture, politics or science, we advance socially relevant topics and create change together – also in social engagement outside the work. Respect, open mindedness and diversity are important values for each one of us. We are united by a great interest in learning new things, broadening our horizons and growing through our projects.

We are always keen to welcome new members to the cineTeam who would like to actively support our vision and mission. Feel free to reach out at any time and we’ll have a chat!

Team

Matteo Sant’Unione

  • Managing Director
  • Creative Producer
  • Green Consultant

The 24/7 hotline in 6’2”.
Matteo will probably be your first contact when you get in touch with cineMars. As a passionate half-Italian, he always brings his sociable and communicative self that makes every production a heartfelt one. At the Rudolf Steiner School, he not only learned to dance his seven names, but most of all to live his creativity. Which still helps him today – when he’s directing, compositing and leading productions.

Lars Pölöskey

  • Head of Production
  • Director of Photography

Our technical Swiss knife in every step of the production line. Lars’ roots go back to producing feature films where his passion for anything that can be visualized was instilled.
He’s a man of many talents: After he leaves the film set as DOP he transforms into Head of Postproduction and treats every raw piece with color grading and sound design until perfection. Wednesday is the only day he leaves the office on time (no guarantee).

Johannes Dreyer

cineMars without Johannes is like pizza with pineapple – not good.
With his sound feeling for editing and animation, he leaves his trademark signature on each project. Johannes gives his all – even if his hand is injured from climbing. He doesn’t only like to potter about adjusting films, but also his motorbike. In both cases, you can count on a result that swipes you off your feet.

CINE MARS

After several years of collaboration, we decided to start our own film production company. We founded cineMars in August 2018 with the vision to create appealing visual content that encourages deep reflection and makes people rethink. We wanted to create content that forms a basis for discussion, even in years down the line.

We made this vision come true and are now working with our motto filming for change. Our goal is to influence our society in a positive way through film making.

We cover topics and issues revolving around integration, diversity, anti-racism or sustainability in both fictional and documentary formats which we develop ourselves. Additionally, we also work with various brands, organizations and charities.

Our greatest motivation is to be able to actively help shaping society with our skills, to draw attention to grievances and to work on solutions while not shying away from profound and sensitive topics.

Our greatest motivation is to be able to actively help shape society with our skills, to draw attention to grievances, to work on solutions while not shying away from profound and sensitive topics.

An example I would like to give is our work with the non-profit association music4everybody! e.V., with whom we’ve been working for 2 years now. They implement integrative musical projects at schools which focus on bringing locals and refugees – new locals – together on stage. Their aim is to create a welcoming setting for language learning, but above all finding support in a new country and building friendships.

We, as cineMars, take great pride in working together with our loyal and constantly expanding network of creatives to pursue the goal of our very own feature film screened in cineMars.. one day.
