Last month, we had the opportunity to produce an awareness campaign for the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) together with the agency “House of Yas”. The focus was on the new organ donation register, which represents an important step towards improving organ donation willingness and transparency. This is because too few organs have been donated in Germany for years, which is often due to the fact that potential donors have not made a decision.
The Bundestag is currently discussing the opt-out solution, which is already in place in other European countries. Anyone who does not object during their lifetime would automatically be a potential organ donor.
The two-day shoot served to inform the public about the new registration options and the importance of organ donation. This resulted in a comprehensive social media campaign that is being published on various platforms.
